I am a Grand Rapids native practicing primarily in the fields of criminal law and family law. I'm dedicated to serving the people of West Michigan by providing honest and knowledgeable representation to those who need it most.
Education: I received my J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, rated one of the best in the country. Before that, I got a dual B.A. in Classics and Mathematics from Denison University.
Experience: Before starting my own office, I volunteered at the Kent County Office of the Defender, where I represented clients by court appointment. I have also worked in the Juvenile division of the Kent County Prosecutor's Office and as a legal researcher in the Ann Arbor City Attorney's Office. I have experience with a wide variety of cases and clients.
